FAQ's

How are musicians selected for the Irvine Youth Orchestra?

Selection is based on technical proficiency, tone quality, rhythmic accuracy, and overall expression. We prioritize dedication and a willingness to collaborate within an ensemble setting.

When will I be notified of my audition results?

Audition results are typically emailed within two weeks following the final audition day. This allows our conductors to carefully review all applicants and finalize section placements.

Can I re-audition if I am not accepted this season?

Absolutely. Many of our current members auditioned multiple times before gaining placement. We encourage students to request feedback and continue their training with their private instructors.
